The Carbon AMD Base Unit is our entry level AMD PC base unit. This is perfect for basic use in the home or office. It holds a dual core CPU from AMD, the Athlon 3000G runs at a steady 3.5Ghz per core, which is more than enough power to run most programs out there. Also if you wanted a quad core this is available for extra in the CPU upgrade section. We have managed to squeeze in a generous 8GB of the newer and faster DDR4 RAM Memory, a modest 240GB SSD ready for your OS and a 24X DVD+/-RW drive. This allows you to not only burn dual format DVDs, but also CDs and you can watch DVD's too. It does only have integrated graphics but as this is the new Athlon range which does include Radeon Vega 3 as standard, you do get decent graphics for a very low budget - but this PC wouldn’t be much use to gamers, but the odd basic game will be fine. This is the perfect home/office or a good starting base system for anyone.
